    "Jig Goes to the Museum" is about a dog named Jig who lives in a big city with his family. One day he hears the children talk about their field trip to the museum. It sounds exciting! Famous artworks on display and they even talked about Pictures at an Exhibition. This exhibit combined artworks and music. The Russian composer Moussorgsky composed the music about his artist friend Hartmann’s paintings. It was written to accompany someone going through the exhibition listening and looking at the paintings. The paintings were from different places around the world ending with the Great Gate of Kiev.
