Slater Mountain Book Series Wins Moonbeam Children's Book Award

October6, 2023 – Judy Ricketts-White, author and publisher of the "Slater Mountain Book Series" won a Moonbeam Children's Book Award in the Best Chapter Book Series category.
     The books series centers around the main character, Bailey Mathews, her horses, family and friends. The books are for pre-teen and teen readers. The author weaves tales of adventure, danger, fun and laughter, all while sharing solid horse-handling principles and life lessons.
